if there was only 1 hunter, and the lion would not have missed ... :( But unfortunately they were with 4. However, if the lion didn't miss he would have been killed certainly :( . It is part of the "killing instinct" of that species to "finish" a kill by biting the throat until the prey dies. This would have given the other hunters the necessary time to kill the lion. So its resistance in thÃs way was the best for the animal, he would not have had a chance against that sons of b****es. +o( By the way, i hope the film could be evidence in a case against them :@

To the ignorant anti hunting types - Money from these hunts actually ensures the survival of the species. There is a big fee to take a lion and some of it goes into conservation. If it didn't there will be no lions eventually. However that was a crappy effort by the hunters. The ethical hunter does not seek to terrorise animals and strives for a quick kill without causing the animal to suffer.
