That wasn't a particularly persuasive demonstration. While he was holding the cell phone with one hand, he could easily have the other hand off camera holding the keyring and using the remote to unlock the door. He doesn't mention what number he's dialing or give other pertinent instructions.

I tried it and it DON'T work I figured out how it worked for him... He is only 30 feet from the car,. You can see it in the background.... Go a mile away and try it...... DON'T WORK....... not on a 2006 Blazer.....

Even if it did work, what would you do with it? I thought this was going to have your cell phone remember the signal and then you would use your phone INSTEAD of the unlock button.

thats so stupid, i'm wireless tech guy and that shit won't work if you forced it too. A keyless device like that travels on lower frequency then a cell phone. Cell phones travel on licenced lines ( the provider ) so everyone who sees this its full of shit....

it is handy if your wife locks the keys say in the boot and you have a spare set at home and you can ring you , some times you have to do it 3 or 4 times for it to work . and no service call and no damage to your car. there are thousands of reports of this method working. I bet you would try it xxthreesixxx if you were stuck. and if it worked for you would you alter your comment?
